An individual-serving dessert solves several practical problems at once: it doesn’t need to be cut, it doesn’t require plates or a knife, it doesn’t fall apart on the way, and it doesn’t melt on the table as quickly as a whole cake.
That’s why desserts in glasses are usually chosen for buffets, the office, picnics, children’s parties, or when there aren’t many guests and a whole cake simply won’t be eaten. Another common scenario is to offer several different flavors so everyone can choose their favorite.
Classic international desserts: Italian tiramisu and panna cotta, English trifle, and Latin American “Three Milks.” Our familiar flavors in a new format: plain and chocolate “Napoleon,” “Red Velvet,” and “Snickers.” And lighter options—mango mousse and chia pudding made with plant-based milk for those who don’t consume dairy.
One serving is approximately 160–200 grams—a full-fledged dessert for one person. For a buffet, we usually recommend one and a half servings per guest if dessert is the only sweet option, and one serving if there’s also a cake on the table.
